Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds Ground Lean Beef
- 2/3 cup Medium Onion Finely Chopped
- 3/4 cup Chili Guys Green Chili Roasted, Peeled, and Seeded
- 1 tablespoon Red Chili Powder
- 3 clove Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Red Chili Sauce
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Sauce Shredded
- 6 slice Cornbread
- Toppings (Taco Sauce, Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Sour Cream)
Directions
In a large bowl, combine beef, onion, chili, chili powder, garlic, cumin, cayenne, salt, chili sauce and 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar, mixing gently. Form into 6 patties. Place over a hot grill for about 6 minutes per side, until browned and meat has cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Place slices of cheddar on top of the burgers, if desired, then cover. place burgers on toasted cornbread slices. Top with additional taco or enchilada sauce, slice of avocado, and tomatoes.
